Migration in figures

Public servants can use MICADO as a repository for migration-related statistics. The platform can be used to visualize and compare statistics that are relevant to the local context.

Micado in Bologna includes statistics on the numbers of foreign residents (1986 to 2020) and a graphic that shows the access of foreign citizens to public housing (2016) broken down by nationality.

Micado in Hamburg provides national and local data. National statistics include annual numbers of asylum seekers in Germany which can be broken down by location (province) and age. City specific statistics include data on incoming residents, family reunions, homelessness, beneficiaries of public housing and more.
